POLICY TITLE:      GOVERNMENT GUIDELINES FOR VOLUNTEER INVOLVEMEN

POLICY NUMBER:                                    4.5

POLICY STATEMENT:

The Lyell McEwin Regional Volunteer Association has a responsibility to work within the confines of guidelines established by the SA Government for the responsible management of volunteer programs – by virtue of the fact that most of its programs are affiliated with LMH.

Accordingly the Board of Lyell McEwin Regional Volunteers Association seeks to work within (but are not limited to) the confines of official government policies relating to volunteers

 

EXPECTED OUTCOMES:

  1. To facilitate the development of a relationships between Lyell McEwin Regional Volunteers, the Dept of Health and LMH in the management of its volunteer programs
  2. To ensure that LMRVA are operating in a manner which meets government guidelines for the management of volunteer resources

 

PROCEDURES (To implement Policy)

1. An up to date copy of all current and relevant guidelines relating to the management and support of volunteers are to be sourced and made accessible in the office of the Executive Officer.

2. That all such documents will be referred to in the development and consideration of future policies being developed by LMRVA Inc
